I'm still unsure about Foles as he burned me when I started him against Dallas, but it looks like a nice matchup against WAS. The other thing is that my opponent has Cooper and I'm wondering if anybody ever tries to "neutralize" an opposing player through a matchup. I figure that if Cooper goes off, Foles will hedge against those points, while if Foles goes off, Cooper will not automatically be a beneficiary.

Am I trying to be too cute? It seems like Stafford is the safer option.

As it now stands, I'd never bench Matt Stafford for Foles. Stafford has been top 3 in both of my leagues this season (different scoring metrics), throws to the most dominant WR in the game, and is 100% in a pass first offense. The Eagles want to be a run-based team and while Foles has had some good weeks, including one ridiculous one, he still hasn't proven consistency. In fact, in addition to the stinker against the Cowboys, his game last week was pretty awful as well, box score be damned (it's been noted elsewhere, but 2 of his TDs were just terrible throws and the DBs had to work pretty darned hard to botch what should have been the easiest picks they would have had since their J.V. days).

In short, it's certainly possible that Foles outscores Stafford this week. But it's not probable, in my opinion, regardless of the scoring system and regardless of the quality of opposing defenses.

I'm with the others, Stafford. I don't see how this is even debatable. He has THE number 1 WR who happens to be the MOST dangerous weapon in all of the NFL. He's going to get this weapon the ball. That alone guarantees that he will be the more sure and safer bet to produce. He is an elite talent by himself. Furthermore, he as a running back who is a dynamic player, in his own right. STAFFORD...STAFFORD..STAFFORD!

Nothing really new to report here. Feel good about choosing Stafford. I am intrigued by Foles but far from willing to trust him. Stafford all the way

Stafford, as good as Foles as been I'm not buying into it. At some point he should come crashing down and put up a huge fantasy stinker and you don't want to be the guy who started him for that week.
