Ya thats a doozy. Trade makes sense for Tigers. Infante is a FA so Kinsler fits there nicely and this allows either Miggy to move back to 1st base or Martinez can play there now full time. You have to wonder about the Rangers and Mitch Moreland. They said they regretting giving up on Chris Davis too early and didn't want to do the same with Moreland. I assume he moves into a DH role now maybe. Either way, big trade!

Great deal for both teams. Both fill needs/wants. Allows a banged up Miggy to play 1B full time, gets VMart back in the lineup on regular basis and possibly gives Castellanos a spot at 3B. Gives the Rangers a big bat from the LH side which they coveted and frees up their MI problem. Like I said good deal all around.

Definitely a great trade for both teams, just a little unexpected. You have to think Fielder will become the 40 HR-120 plus RBI man he used to be in that Texas lineup now. Kinsler being a plate-setter in that lineup is going to be a very valuable player with his bat, speed and fielding ability. Meanwhile, Profar and Castellanos get a chance to shine for both teams.
