Post-Olympic eval - any FA an upgrade??
Time for the final push. Tavares and Letang are now out on my teamAre any of the following available FA an upgrade? I'm afraid of Nyquist now with Zets out, and growing tired of Kreider not producing. When Letang gets put on IR I'm going to put Koivu back in. I want to get a good point producer that also has good shots and hits and PIM would help too.
Granlund is also another consideration to drop with Koivu coming back? But he had a great Olympics and may just be heating up either way.
I'm also seriously considering dropping Smith to add another forward as he hasnt helped so far this year. Someone convince me not to?

I'm not sure if Penner or Setoguchi would be an upgrade over Kreider or not. I'm gonna give him a week and if he's still putting up goose eggs I might have to pull the trigger for the playoffs.
I'm thinking the only goalie category I'd possibly lose by running two goalies is the wins column, vs another forward can help me with all the other categories. Since Smith hasnt had a stellar year, he hasnt really helped anyway. If I did it, who is the top FA to pick out of that group you think?

Neither Penner nor Seto is an upgrade to Kreider. I would keep an eye on Nichushkin. See if he can build upon his Olympic experience. His TOI was a little low going into the break though. Perhaps he will be relied upon more for the rest of the season.
