Standard Keeper league: I have Eli as my QB now and next year will most likely have 1st or 2nd overall pick. Trade deadline is approaching and I am wondering if I should go after Wilson now or just wait for next years draft. No current decent QB's will be available, only rookies. As well who I could offer to get Wilson. My worthy keepers whom I could offer are as follows.

Eli Manning
Forte, MJD, L.Bell
Megatron, Nicks, Shorts, T.Austin
Gronk

You're definitely starved for a QB, that being said I would probably go after someone like Kaepernick or Brady or Ryan instead of a high valued Wilson right now. Aim low for an underachiever to this seasons standards. Heck, even make a move for Romo.

Bottom line, not worth it for you to pay top dollar for a QB who is pretty hot right now when your own team doesn't have the depth to part with. I would be offering up Tavon Austin and MJD right now before their value goes back in the crapper. Cross your fingers that Nicks gets dealt in the off-season to spike his value (i.e., Steven Jackson), and then cut him loose.

It depends what you have to give up. If you can get Wilson fairly cheap, go for it..he is a definite QB upgrade for you in both production and age. But if not then stand pat. There are several top QB prospects that will be in the NFL soon.
