If Granlund gets any softer he's going to start lactating. He has put up some nice assist numbers, for a month. But Turris is breaking out this year, right now. Turris might be an All-Star this year if he keeps up his pace, not sure if you have been paying attention to the Sens: 18 points in 17 games. Granlund has 12 points, and plays about 4 minutes less per game. For this year and next, at least, I will take Turris. I just feel he is farther ahead in his development and should remain above Granlund for the foreseeable future (2-3 yrs)

Funny line but not 100% accurate as both players are as soft as a soup sandwich (2 can play this game ) Turris wins this battle this year without question but I really doubt Turris finishes anywhere close to his current pace.

Turris is having a really strong start - just like last season - but I think this time around he's better prepared to have success through the full season. Not at this pace obviously, but I'm willing to suggest he's a lock for 50 and should hit 60.
Having to fill for Spezza last year has turned out to be a great thing for Turris because he was forced to become a better player. I've been really impressed with what I've seen this year..and he's really meshed nicely with Ryan and Macarthur, so that counts for something.
Granlund looks to have a really nice connection with Pominville. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, given the talk surrounding him before last season. A full year for a young European player to acclimatize to the NHL game isn't ridiculous, when all is said and done....and he may not be there just yet.
For the question at hand, I'm going to suggest Turris for a shorter-term outlook. Ie-this year, next year.
If you're looking at 2-3years down the road, I'd be inclined to take the shot with Granlund.
Not sure why Turris gets so often underrated. Maybe because the expecations were so high to start his career and he failed to deliver early on but he's turning into a top two-way (which doesn't mean he won't get the points) center. I think 60-70 points from him in his prime years is a perfectly reasonable expectation. And he's reaching his prime years very soon. Granlund doesn't really have a higher potential than that. He is a few years behind Turris in his development.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Turris short term. Granlund longterm
I was thinking this too at first glance, but now i'm not so sure.
Turris is making a strong case for himself playing alongside BR and Mac. They found instant chemistry since their road game in ANA.
But yeah, i'd expect Turris to slow down this pace eventually.
Gun to my head, i'm taking Turris here mainly b/c i'm a Sens fan.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
