The NSHL is about to enter it's 13th season and is looking for one GM to take over the Vancouver Canucks franchise.
The previous GM had to re-locate due to work and found it tough to keep up on a day-to-day basis. Over the course of the off-season the league has assisted the team by making free agent signings and loading up the roster with depth and movable assets.
The NSHL is a 21 team league which uses a custom schedule, custom re-rates, an off-season Training Camp system, a customized free agency system as well as modern technology functions like Twitter and Dropbox to assist everyone with day-to-day obligations. The league is quite in-depth and has a solid core of GMs, many of whom have been around since the first season or two.
The league is less than a month away from pre-season hockey so the candidate GM will have plenty of time to get their feet wet before putting their team on the ice.
Interested candidates can e-mail [email protected] with their application which should indicate why they're a solid choice for the position.
