Default Hertl, Jones for Callahan, Franson

    Hey gentlemen,
Just wondering what you guy think of the trade above.
Team an league in sig. I'm in a win now situation.

I assume that Cally and Franson are off to slow starts due to the missing of their training camps.

It helps you a little bit now but Id pass anyways. If this is a dynasty keeper then someone rebuilding should give you much much more for either one of those guys.

I like the deal for you. Sell high on Hertl's got start. Callahan is starting slow due to injury and even then he contributes some value with hits. Id prefer Jones to Franson but franson is a decent option for 35 points and 200 hits.

Not enough for me. If I'm moving Jones AND Hertl (the hottest commodity of late) I'd be asking for a stud in return. I love Callahan but his style of play results in a lot of injuries. Not sold on Franson's upside in Toronto or as a keeper. Wait it out for something juicy.

I don't know if it is a terrible deal. Hertl's value will probably drop like a rock over the next few months. If you are going to deal him, get the best value you can now.

I don't know if I would give Jones up for that though, his value should rise over the season... Especially if he is playing 20-25 minutes with Weber.

Before you decide on this one, shop around and see what you can get for jones alone.

    +1.

Do not trade S.Jones without widely shopping him first.

You can probably do better than Franson.
