Default #5 Waiver priority for Landeakog?

    Team/League in sig....

Landeskog was just dropped....should I use my #5 waiver claim to take a run at him, or save my claim hoping to be able to utilize it on a better player later?

As of right now. He'd be a backup LW, fighting for time with Ribeiro/Ott for playing time at Utility. (He'd take Chris Neil's spot on my team)

Love to hear people's season projections for Landeskog as well, if possible...

    Thanks in advance.

He's potentially a roto stud so not sure why you wouldn't insert him over Ott or Neil as other than PIMs (and he's not soft in the regard either) he's going to contribute across the board. He's undervalued this year (based on last year's injury) and I've been able to buy low on him in most of my leagues this year. So...yes, grab him if you can!

I would agree in leagues which count hits, the guy is a warrior. I am trying to buy low on him now as well.

In leagues that don't count hits?.....would you spend a #5 waiver priority on him?

Hmmm, that's a tough one, not knowing what you need and the depth of your league. I know in my leagues, the depth of quality LW's is pretty shallow, but you already have two good ones in ZP and Sharp.

I guess you'll have to decide what you need, but Landy should contribute across the stat category "board", so to speak, and be valuable regardless of cats. I wouldn't think Ott would be as valuable in a league which doesn't count FOWs and Hits. Plus you're going to have to make a decision when Burrow's comes back as well.

You know your league better than I do, but I'd probably grab him and release either Ott or Neil. Do you think the player you release would be grabbed off the waiver wire as well?
