    Default McKinnon for Eberle

points only league. 5 keepers each. Biggest concerns are this year and 1-2 years down the road. Not too concerned about 3-5 years away.

I'd take Eberle over McKinnon easily for the next 1-2 years. McKinnon will be great, but it'll take time - especially being behind Duchene for the 1C spot.

I'd take Mac over Eberle in a keeper any day

Nathan Mackinnon, higher upside. id only trade Mack for maybe 10 players in the league
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Guys, OP says he's not looking 3-5 years down the road...Eberle EASY pick over Mackinnon short-term.

Eberle is guaranteed EV1 & PP1 time. With Nuge having matured since previous seasons, and Hall being as good as ever, that Ed top line will be legit.
Mac is battling with Duchene, Statsny, even O'Reilly for playing time on PP1 and EV. As of now, he's on 3rd line with Parenteau and McGinn. I don't see that changing in the near future unless Avs have serious problems with their top 2 lines.

With respect to MacKinnon, I think it's very hard to compare this year (as an 18 year old) to 2 years away from now.

I'd take Eberle in a one year league.

For next year, it's a toss up for me.

After that, I probably lean MacKinnon.

In a keeper, I'd want more than just Eberle for MacKinnon...that much I am sure of...
