    Default Dubnyk or Varlamov

I know this was touched on in the daily ramblings and its early in the season but Dubnyk looks awful. And Roy being in Colorado could help Varlamov? Second team in Sig Do I stick with what I got or jump ship?

If I could switch Dubnyk for Varlamov, I'd take that chance...

While it is a very small sample size, these teams thus far appear to be going in completely opposite directions...

As a Dubnyk owner, I've got to say that I am disappointed in the first two performances. But, I can't think of many other goalies who could have stopped that onslaught last night. The turnovers were ridiculous. They gave up 22 shots in the first period alone. And he had still made 31 saves by the time he was pulled halfway through he 2nd. He did let in a few clunkers, but it's Dubnyk...he has those occasionally.

I would be patient. The D just leaves too many guys wide open in front of the net ALL the time. EDM needs to let their D gel so that they are not hanging out their goalies to dry.

I think it's way too early to be jumping ship. (I hope)

    A couple questions...

I see Drouin is on your bench. He's not coming up this year thus opening a bench spot. Is Varly a FA in this league? Or you looking to trade for him? Can't you put Drouin in " minors" slot free up the space and add Varly to that spot? You'd then have Dubs and Varly.

I was so horrified after the first Edmonton game that I dropped Dubnyk for Varlamov. I'm glad that I did so because it was even worse last night v Vanouver.
