    Default Replacing Luke Schenn

Stats of league are in my sig, here's who of consequence is available in FA:

    Dennis Wideman Cgy - D
    Brent Burns SJ - RW,D
    Slava Voynov LA - D
    Mark Giordano Cgy - D
    Kevin Bieksa Van - D
    Dennis Seidenberg Bos - D
Michael Del Zotto NYR - D
    Jack Johnson Cls - D
    Ryan McDonagh NYR - D
    Brooks Orpik Pit - D
    Dan Hamhuis Van - D

I already have Karlsson and Phaneuf, just need a third d-man that can rack up SOGs, HITs, BLKs and enough points to supplement. What do people think?

Gotta love Burns for his dual eligibility and the fact that he will shoot and score.
Voynov is a good all-round guy. I like him a lot. He really came on strong at the end of last year. I drafted him fairly high.
Can't go wrong with Bieksa for the physical stuff.
Hamhuis, if he has the year he's capable of, is probably a close #3 after Burns and Voynov.

Gio will probably prove me wrong on all of the above. But I just can't see taking him or Wideman on a bad team. I always default to the better crew. Maybe that's naïve, but it's just how I feel about it if there's a close choice to make.

    Probably Ryan McDonagh

Burns has a good chance at hitting 50 points. If you have that production from a D spot, that ain't bad. Voynov gets a ton of ice and powerplay time too. He's a good bet as well.
