Default Top 100 Roto Players Relaunched!

    Edit: It is done!
You can find my rankings here. http://hockey.dobbersports.com/index...september-2013

There are some things that were surprising to me, just understand that I am not evaluating how talented a player is. I am not evaluating what he could do a couple years down the road. I am evaluating how he should do next year, based solely upon his stats the past few years in addition to his projections. I'm also doing it in a pretty unique way.

The Dobberhockey Top 100 Roto Players is back!

Later this month (possibly in as few as five days), a new and improved top-100 roto list will be once again featured on Dobberhockey.com.

GM Gates has done an incredible job with this over the past few years, and I am honoured to have been entrusted with this project. I have most of the pieces put together, but I thought I would ask what you all wanted to see from this.
Do you an overwhelming preference for keeper vs. single season?
Would you like Yahoo standard categories, or the inclusion of hits?

There is one thing that has to get done, what it will actually look like at the very end.
I need some help with the design, someone to make it look good and hold it to the standards of Dobberhockey.com.
Please either PM me or reply here.

Thanks once again to you, Gates.

Nice. Personally, I think there should be two separate lists - one Keeper, one One-Year. There's really no comparing the two, and most Fantasy guys have ongoing keepers along with one-years.

That being said, this would require a shitload more work and likely isn't too appealing to you. Good luck with the project either way, look forward to seeing it!

+1. Although if I had to pick, I'd go with Keeper. It's easier to figure out the best players for a 1 year pool, regardless of format.

Personally I like the view from a keeper perspective, and if I had a choice I would want to include hits and maybe even BS as well as the standard "Yahoo" cats.

    I agree.

The waiver wire is also more beneficial in one year leagues, compared to a keeper league.

I think a healthy mix of categories is the way to go but if it makes life easier to do Yahoo plus a couple others then sure.

Ultimately, it's your choice Austeane, you're the one in control

And it is live! Thanks everyone! I did include hits, and I will probably alternate keeper and one-year lists.
