Default J Hayes or Luke Adam

    Hi guys,

I am rebuilding for the future and I can only keep one of either J. Hayes or Luke Adam. I know Hayes should get a shot with the Hawks this year. Adam probably won’t with Buffalo. Has Adam’s time come and gone? Looking 3-4 years down the road, is Hayes still your choice?

    Thanks in advance

Hayes is more of a depth guy while Adam has the potential to move up the lineup. Adam is the easy choice here.

True, but Adam looks like a bust. In that case, Hayes would be the better option. Can't really go wrong though as neither should have a real impact on a fantasy team.

Might as well keep Adam for the upside factor...

This is the deciding factor for me. Hayes is more of a depth player regardless of how he develops. To me he is similar to Bryan Bickell who has never cracked 40 points. Not very fantasy-relevant. Adam has more bust potential but if any of the two emerge as a scoring line guy it's him.
