What's new at Web Sim Hockey for the 2013-14 NHL season

Hi everyone,

If you do not know who we are, Web Sim Hockey is an online hockey manager under NHLPA licensing. We have over 590 leagues and over 11,500 teams managed every day on our hockey social network, launched in July 2009.

All information about the game can be found directly on our site so I'll spare you the game details, so here's what's new at Web Sim Hockey, heading into the 2013-14 NHL season.

- News Feed delivering important information about all your teams and friends activities. You can comment on your game results, trades, or anything that happens in the day to day of your team management.

- Live chat, grouped by leagues and friends. Get live help from our experienced GMs through our mentorship chat room.

- Owner Finance and Hockey objectives. Rank among the best GMs of the community with your unique HKY and FIN GM attributes ratings.

- Badge reward system

- Full set of attributes, statues and statistics that follows your GM career.

- Retro leagues available starting any year, beginning in 1979-80. You can draft Gretzky and have him on your team for years, or Bourque, Stastny, or any young superstar of the 80's. Player attributes were generated using their career stats, for very accurate and realistic ratings.


How to join?
You must create a GM account and you will be brought to the news feed page. You should go through the tutorials of the game first, and follow instructions from there.

Once you're ready to join a league, you have 2 options:

1- Join an existing league as Interim GM (Free for the current season, 4.95$ to renew. That's up to 2 seasons for only 4.95$)

2- Join a new league and build your team from scratch (FREE! See special offer below)

The best thing is to start as interim GM while you gather people to form up a league on our community or by inviting your friends.

You should also know that you can start a new league at any time during the course of the year.

We use the NHL stats of the previous season to generate attributes that are used by the game simulation engine.

If you decide to play with the current NHL set, then you can play only once season a year. Those who want to play more than one season can add virtual rookie players (players from the past, custom player, etc).

Playing a retro league allows you to simulate one season after the other without ever taking a break.

We just added a new Retro League mode, where you can start any time between 1979-80 up to 1999-00, and play every season one after the other without any interruption.
