I'm watching as well, so glad hockey is back.

-Granlund is much better than I expected.
-I'm really liking Subban as well.
-Bo Horvat is looking like he's not too far away from NHL action.
-Shinkaruk has a mean streak that I was unaware of.
    -Eriksson is looking really good.
-Haven't really noticed much of Monahan to be honest.

That Jensen save was pretty sick.

Loving it, though my feed is pretty bad - how's yours?

-subban is a fantastic skater. Creating offense constantly, both last night and tonight. Kid plays with a TON of confidence. Strange
-shinkaruk has great hands, but seems to be expecting to finish plays off the way he can in junior. Ain't gonna score that easily anymore.
-eriksson was all over the map last night but still stopped 38 shots. Let out too many big rebounds but recovered well. Tonight the jitters seem to be gone. His game appears a little more controlled.
-tommernes. Def need to see more. Seemed pretty nervous last night and messed up little plays he should have made.
-horvat has been exactly as expected. Just a damn good all-around game.
-Jensen had a great shot for nice goal last night an was robbed tonight. Has looked solid.

Subban has been my fav player by far. So much fun to watch. His skating appears elite. Is this a known strength of his?

Baertchi been kinda awful so far. Bad penalty and just had bad turnover, lucky that Van didn't bury it.

Mine's pretty solid, watching in residence right now.

Subban is listed as 5'9 and 177 pounds, his offensive abilities and skating are not in question. Its how he plays in his own end that probably led to him slipping in the draft.

Very fun to watch, great shot from the point too. Kid knows how to run a powerplay.

Monahan getting into it here now this period. Good plays, nothing to show for it yet though.

    1-1 game.

Flames have come to life since the fight.

For sure, he wouldn't be dancing thru NHL'ers right now, just don't remember any mention about his skating and I've been thoroughly impressed

Looks like Calgary has something in John Ramage. Leader, quality player and defender.

    True.

He's quieter than PK, but he still has that swagger about him.

    Gotta love it!

Ortio was in the zone last night. Only a few shots beat him including a screened shot by Corrado.

    Great performance.

funny how we can watch the same game and reach different conclusions. i pretty much thought Subban was really underwhelming.

i liked all the 1st round picks from this year, the two goalies (Ortio looks like Kipper, Eriksson looks more like an NHL goalie with his size), Granlund, Jensen, and Knight (seemed like he got very little playing time). on D i liked Corrado. Ramage too, but size will be tough for him... he looks like a Ference clone.

Ferland is interesting as a future multi-cat guy, if he can stay out of jail.
