I may be able to trade Schneider for Price and picks. I prefer Schneider as a goalie but given his situation in NJ this year his lack of starts may hurt me. My logic is that Price is comparable enough to Schneider that the extra starts this year and extra picks may swing the trade in my favor.

I'd take the deal
Price by mile and it's not close. Take this deal and run before the other owner wakes up. Price proven starter Schneider is not. Price - Total GP 310 6 seasons Avg. GP over 6 seasons 52, 1 year high 75. Schneider - Total GP 98 5 seasons Avg. GP over 5 seasons 20, 1 year high 33. I will take proven over unproven every time. Who knows if Schneider can actually handle a full season workload I will take the guy I know can. Plus price is a year and a half younger need I go on. Take PRICE it's right.

Price is the man here. Not only is he more experienced, his team has a solid core group to build around while I expect the NJD to be a very poor team for quite some time.
The new Atlantic division will be a good challenge for Montreal. New Jersey on the other hand will get torn up in the Metro division and it'll hurt Schneiders value.
