Trades you regret!

I know we've all had some! This year I've got 2, the first and the worst for me was I got offered David price and a 2nd rounder i think for Matt Harvey and Shelby miller. I mean in the end the 2 will get shut down early but who would have known they would have been so good all year! Harvey especially! The other was I traded for cueto as soon as he went down the 2nd time! I thought he would be a sure bet for the playoff run in my one league so I offered up 2 very early picks in 2014, and 2015! Cueto does not crack my keeper list and he may not throw another pitch this year so I literally gave 2 picks to my competition...

Ah, that's a trade you have to make! Didn't end up well but I would've made the same move.

In 2011, at the very start of the season, in a one-year league, I gave up Verlander and Fielder for Dunn, Choo, and Swisher. Fielder and Verlander were coming off decent but not great years, and Dunn, Choo, and Swisher seemed to fit my team better (had they got the numbers I was expecting). Pretty stupid...

I trade Grigorenko, 3rd round pick

I get Toffoli, 2nd round pick, cap space to allow me to pick up a player.

He won't trade Grigorenko for Toffoli straight up right now.

I traded Wainwright for AJ Pierzynski and Trevor Hoffman.

This was in like 2008, when I didn't know very much about baseball. Still stings though.

Back in spring of 2000... I was in my first AL-auction league.
I was trying to get some young players and I traded away several quality guys (can't remember who they were) for Ben Grieve.
Grieve had just finished his last $5 year (rookie 3-year amount) and I then signed him for another four years at $20.
I think he was worth a few dollars when he moved to Tampa.

I traded my Harper for Braun and Dickey (1 year only at least) ... ya, pure fail!

I traded Harper in a keeper a week after he was called up for Alex Gordon and Asdrubal Cabrera with the thoughts of winning that season. I came in 5th and no longer have Gordon or Cabrera and seeing Harper on another team is tough.

I traded Kipnis before anyone knew his value :\ I got Heyward and Taillon out of it and ended up moving them for more stuff, but still....Kipnis is a top 3 second baseman now.
