    Default Keeper Advice?

    Cats:
G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, Hits, Blocks, PIM
    Wins, GAA, Saves, SV%

    League: 4 C, 4 LW, 4 RW, 6 D, 2 G

    Keep 10

    and here's the nominees

    C - Henrik Sedin
    C - Martin Hanzal
    C - Tomas Plekanec
    C/LW - Tyler Ennis
    LW - Max Pacioretty
    LW - Daniel Sedin
    RW/D - Dustin Byfuglien
    RW/D - Brent Burns
    D - Alexander Edler
    D - Cody Franson
    G - Roberto Luongo
    G - Cam Ward
    G - Cory Schneider

    My rambles...
Sedins, Byfuglien, Edler, Pacioretty, Luongo, Ward, Schneider seem like locks.
Franson, Burns, Ennis, Hanzal, Plekanec are the ones I'm having trouble deciding on.
Thinking it's best to package up a goalie with one of the defman to make some upgrades at forward?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated

I agree with your "locks." Also Burns should be a lock. Getting a forward's production from a d spot is so worth it. Definitely try to make a package for a star forward if you can.

    I would keep:

    Henrik
    Daniel
    Max Pac
    Byfuglien
    Burns
    Franson
    Edler
    Schneider
    Ward
    Luongo

but, your team is old and lacking in top end forward talent. I would make a trade if something is available.

Your top 8 are easy choices. I have to agree with above that Burns is the obvious 9th, especially if he keeps D status. I'd take Ennis with the last pick, once buffalo starts moving bodies his ice time+opportunities should only get better. He is talented enough to score on his own.

I count 13 players listed and you can keep 10. So ditch Hanzal, Plekanec and Franson. Done.

    I'm not keeping Ennis.

I'm torn between Ennis and Franson... Are you sure that Burns will get D eligibility? If so, I would be inclined to keep Ennis. If Burns is officially a forward, I would keep him and flip Ennis for Franson.

Thanks for the reply gents, dished out as much rep as I could.

Not 100% sure Burns will have dual eligibility, league is through yahoo so I'm hoping he maintains both F/D options for this season.

Hopefully work something out in a trade to improve the forwards.
