He's far and away the Sabres' best defenceman, will play a metric ton of minutes, and is the engine that will drive most of the offence, but their forwards struggled to score last year and I don't see how they can expect that to change this year, which means I can't project anything more than 40 points for him. Add in the Sabres' apparent rebuild and likely trade of Thomas Vanek and the just looks awfully bleak.
I'd strongly consider keeping Bobrovsky over him. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's what I would do if I were in your shoes.
