I have 2 potential trades in the works for my H.Sedin.
I am gtting rid of him because he is going into Auction and I likely won't be able to afford any bid on him.
What is a better deal for me?
1) 1st Round pick (13th overall) and B.Smith
2) 3rd Round pick and Shattenkirk

This 1st round pick needs to be a superstar to even consider offer 1 over offer 2
The draft is 1 year behind the NHL in terms rookies, so in this years draft there is: Yakupov, Shultz, etc
As for superstar, likely not - not right away at least.

So itīs a prospect draft with the 2012 players! Take Shattenkirk, easy choice.
Unless the pick is a lock for a Justin Schultz, Hamilton, Galchenyuk type you really should go with Shattenkirk here.
