I'd rather have Nyquist as well.
Conacher getting dealt to Ottawa kind of sucked.
Nyquist for me. The Wings are patient with their Euro forward prospects but once they arrive they are usually solid producers. Skill-wise, Nyquist is the more creative player who will make better chances offensively.

I'm not a big Conacher fan by any stretch but I don't see how this isn't close at least. Both the same age, both not the biggest guys. Conacher has proven more in both professional leagues, both great skaters, both creative guys. Not sure either guy will be 60 point forwards in the future. I would take Nyquist but he doesn't have this insane type of upside.
True. I don't see either player being a top-end offensive option. When they hit their primes, Nyquist could fall into 60-68 points on average and Conacher 55-60. Neither are top line, 75+ talents IMO.

I would go with Nyquist
I own both in my points only keeper and I value Nyquist higher than Conacher. The move to Ottawa seems to have really hurt his fantasy value as there does not seem to be room in the top 6 for him. I also really liked how Nyquist performed in the playoffs this year, I cannot say the same about Conacher.
