I them both quite a bit. Can you dangle them in offers. Keep one and move the other for assets?
Team & scoring in signature.
As you can see from my team, Kovalchuk was going to be my 4th keeper forward. However, his "retirement" has made him completely useless to me. As such, I need to find a new 4th keeper from my team. I have it narrowed down to either Moulson or Voracek.
I am leaning towards Voracek. However, I would like to hear the opinions of DobberNation.
KEEPER LEAGUE
--> 10 team points-only keeper; 20 roster moves; rosters roll over to playoffs
--> 12F-6D-2G [bench]; keep 4F-2D-1G-1WC
--> F&D: G/A = 1; hat-trick = 2 bonus
--> G: W = 2; OTL = 1; SO = 2 bonus
Keeper: Makar

I'd say Moulson is the safer bet. Kinda know his range. But Voracek would be guy with more potential.
I think after last season, PHI getting better in the off-season, Voracek would be my choice as well.

Moulson for me.
Mostly... because you have Tavares.
To win this pool, you need Tavares to do well... very well.
If Tavares does well... Moulson does well.
I've called this the "dice theory" before.
Say you play a game where you get to roll two dice.
Highest score wins.
Lowest score gets a little prize too.
Would you rather:
i) Roll one dice and double that score?
or
ii) Roll each dice separately?
If there are prizes for HIGHEST score and LOWEST score... you should know what to do. This isn't the stock market... you aren't trying to diversify. Put all those eggs in one basket!!!
Anyone you can make an offer to for a better fourth? I would choose Voracek, but I'd love to Package Voracek/Moulson for someone like Benn or Hall, or else try and get a stud d guy like PK
I would keep Moulson and go with the dice theory. With limited keepers the other option would be to find someone with a weak D and try to package someone wlike doughty who should have decent value and get an upgrade on forward. That is how you will get someone like Benn. It won't really hurt you if you keep Streit,Enstrom, or Goli as your second keeper.
