In case the OP was still wanting opinions, I'd definitely take Barrie over Brodin in a points only league especially. I also saw Brendan Smith's name mentioned...I think Barrie has more value than Smith in a points only league too, although that's likely a lot closer than Barrie/Brodin.
Len Barrie was a marginal hockey player at best and terrible NHL co-owner(and a Grade A Jerk) but he's help raise a son with some pretty incredible ability.
