No such thing as the 'West' any more is there? Four divisions now I believe.
True...I don't know exactly how the divisions will line up, but my point is that I doubt Chicago trades Bolland to Edmonton or any team they will possibly have to play 4 or more times a year.
With most players, I say that "rule" is overblown, but with Bolland (an emotional player who ups his game in the playoffs), I think Chicago will want to avoid playing him as much as possible.
