Interesting comparison of the 2011 Cup run and the Bruins 2013 playoffs to date from the New England Hockey Journal

A lot of similarities. I don't think Chicago this year is very similar to Vancouver in 2011, though.

This COULD end up one of the best Cup Finals in years. I'm predicting Bruins in 7 with 3 games ending in OT.

Hawks in five baby! Hawks have just as much tenacity as the Bruiuns, yet it's often underrated. Bruins haven't faced a D as deep as the Hawks. If Crawford holds up his end, i see no reason why the Hawks don't take this in five.

I figured you just hated them when your prediction was made without common sense.

Hawks came out strong but the Bruins took that period over.

Hawks tried to hit everything in sight (*sigh*). When will they ever learn?

Um...ok. First I predicted the Hawks v. Bruins final. So my hate for them doesn't blind me to the fact that they are more than capable team.

That said, after watching the Hawks get by the Wings sublime gap-closing prowess, and the Kings big bruising bangers. And comparing that to the Bruins barely managing the Leafs, and yes, they beat a porous Pens defense.

Well, I am picking the Hawks. The hook is Rask. My take...Hawks have to take a lead a get the Bruins off the "Let's all stand at the blue line and hold hands" team strategy.
