I finished second-to-last last year and have the number one pick coming up this years draft.

Yeah I'd be hard pressed to not make that deal. Who would you pick up to fill the other roster spot?

I think fantasy wise Drouin would be better, but Mac tore up the Mem Cup and some people are comparing him to Sid...decisions decisions
Absolutely you do that trade! Malkin's a top player in the league and will be for many more years.
Definitely take Malkin here. I'd wait until after the draft to chose between Mac and Drouin based on who is in a better situation to take off because I think they are comparable.

for a league that doesn't count hits and FoW's I think this is an awesome price for Malkin, I would take that trade immediately regardless of the situation in Colorado. As for who you should draft with your pick.. wait to see whether its FLA or TB who ends up with who.. Colorado could stun some people and either take an offensive player in Mack or Drouin or there are already rumors that they might trade their first overall pick. Sit back, enjoy the low price for Malkin, and wait to see which future star you get to draft.

I would be curious to know how many teams in your league, do you have positions for forwards, who would you keep since you would then have a vacant roster spot, is this a roto, H2H or points league?
I'll put the triger on this one. Take Malkin and run. This league is obvioulsy a goals and assists league so yes I want Malkin !!
I'm a huge fan of Drouin, if he is draft by TB, his value sky rocket. He is a superior playmaker who will play with a monster finisher in Stammer.
