Need opinions ASAP
I've been in a bidding war with another team for Yu. The offer in my inbox right now is my longo, iwakamura, beachy, 1st and 3rd, for his Yu and headley.
That's an overpayment IMO. Headley's on the WW in my 12-team league right now, and while he probably won't be there for long, Longoria and Beachy alone is a hefty price for Yu. He's a beauty this year though. He killed me with walks last year but he's really improved his control this season thus far. If I owned him now though and could swap him for Longoria +, I would be all over that. Just be careful. His price is steep right now.

I rejected earlier! I countered with iwakamura, seager, Skaggs and a 1st for yu and walker.
That's a fair offer for both sides if that 1st has solid value. IMO...

He countered with yu and Neil walker for iwakamura, seager, either McCann or beachy, plus the 1st... Thoughts on this?
How good is that 1st going to be, most likely? McCann makes it a big overpay, ditto, I think Beachy too. My hunch is that you're giving up too many really good assets to get just 1 upgrade here.Originally Posted by ruckus1717

Yeah I'm feeling the same way to be honest! I don't mind overpaying a bit for darvish but I think I take a big hit at 2nd here. Last years 1st round after our 8 keepers was godly, smardzjia, seager but obviously godly will not go back into the draft this year.
I might have him talked into iwakamura, Skaggs and McCann for yu straight up. Skaggs is useless while he is back in the minors and I've got Napoli as my C and grandal is still on the WW so I think I can part with McCann here!
I think that would be fine. I don't really like Skaggs all that much anyway and there's aaaalways the next batch of prospects. So in my mind it's really like Iwakuma/Mcann for Yu. Which in most leagues is a damn fine deal as long as you have another C. Which you do
