I think it's a glitch - there's another thread about it somewhere. It keeps going up, and might coincide with our User CP subscriptions remaining when they're no longer active. Some glitch with the logouts perhaps (as mentioned on the thread).

No, that's not the glitch at all. You count as being logged on the site for I think 8 hours after you leave. Then you don't count anymore. If the numbers kept going up forever, we'd be in the millions right now.
What the glitch is - each day the new 'record' is reset.
That being said, with changes made to logging in recently, the glitch may be fixed now I haven't checked.
