Updated with the weekend games... not a whole lot of changes.

    Toews is still pointless (WTF?)

DerekReese jumps from 9th to a tie for 2nd.

Bnhershy and Pengwin7 climb into the top 10 knocking out blayze and Mater.

Just for you horrorfan, I figured I'd better highlight your further slide down the ranks to 21st

Thanks to the Holtby shutout, nobody has gotten a point from their Rangers picks yet.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Toews is killing me... unbelievable that he has zero points so far. I'm not worried though, he'll bust out soon.

With Bolland out it seems like he is taking even more defensive draws than usual, once he returns next game (I think?) I suspect Toews will see better zone starts and get it going.

Updated as of Monday night games.

I've edited the rank formula in my spreadsheet to show ties now so rankings/jumps should be more accurate.

No huge changes in the standings after last night. Brandon didn't fall any further to allow me to make fun of him again.

Everyone selected as Rangers representatives picked up a point last night except for Richards (dammit).

Zetterberg picked a pretty bad time to end his hot streak (dammit again)

McDonald is now the only Blues pick to not register a point to date.

The Ducks picks have been pretty productive early, but were held off the board last night.

Bergeron is the only Bruin pick not to record a point yet.

    Stupid AndyMc!

I was actually pretty happy with my picks, as I strategically tried to pick my D players in elimination slots. (Subban MON, Phaneuf TOR, Edler VAN, Streit NYI)
Green WAS & Karlsson OTT are both looking good on their team scoring list right now too.

But as for STL... if AP or Shatty outscores AndyMc... I'm gonna look dum.
    D-U-M... dum.

BTW... thanks for doing these updates 4T2!

No problem man, it's been fun.

I used the same method for my d-men picks although AP was a tough decision as I really liked the Blues to take that series, but they are a low scoring team anyway so I'm comfortable with that pick.

Updated with Tuesday night's games and boy did that shake up the standings.

metaldude took over the top spot after being tied for 4th.

HockeyProphet jumped from 8th to a tie for 2nd, blayze jumped from 14th to a tie for 5th.

Some big drops took place too, wendelclark17 falls from 2nd to a tie for 9th, bnhershy fell six spots to 13th, sixhands fell seven spots to 14th, and markyj fell 9 spots to a tie for 17th.

DAMN YOU TOEWS!!! Get a bloody point will ya?!?

With the Canucks eliminated, the Sedin twins and Burrows proved to be the best picks each posting three points. Garrisson and the goalie tandem were the only picks who failed to produce.

Every Sharks pick has produced a minimum of three points.

The single point by Parise is the only Minnesota pick to have produced for their team.

    Updated with Wednesday night's games.

Chara's 4-point night has boosted HockeyProphet to a 3-point lead in the pool. It also helped Bnhershy jump 7 spots to a tie for 6th.

Patrice Bergeron and Brad Richards each picked up a point which means all the Bruins and Rangers picks have finally contributed.

Krejci's league leading 10-points are having no impact on this pool as he was not chosen by any of us. (DOH!!)

Pengwin7's McDonald pick is looking worse and worse as Pietrangelo, Backes and Steen all contributed points last night while AndyMac still has a goose egg next to his name.

Top 3 NHL teams to contribute points to the pool - San Jose (33), Pittsburgh (21), Anaheim (16).

Bottom 3 NHL teams - Minnesota (1), Karlsson... er... Ottawa (5) and Montreal (5)

Just out of curiosity how are you updating these?

I hope for your sake you've set up your spreadsheet so that you're only inputting the player stats into excel once!

AndyMc... pssh. Terrible pick. Won't matter.

If my quick review is right, the only other people that picked Crosby went with either the BOS or CHI goalies. I went SJ.

    Crosby + Niemi... FTW.

Yeah, I have a spreadsheet that I did up, I update off the boxscores each night from NHL.com. I only have to update each player once and the formulas do the rest.

I have to go back and review the stats soon though as my method won't have taken into consideration any corrections that were made yet.

    jake_canucks has Crosby and Lundy.

Hate to break it to you though Pengwin, the Sharks are toast next round no matter who they face.
