Why do you say that? They persevered all season long without their top offensive player and the reigning Norris trophy winner. Getting Karlsson and Anderson back at the right time made the Sens a more dangerous foe. Thinking the Habs would cakewalk through them because of the 2 vs. 7 match-up is a mistake. The Sens are a good team with potential to be very good, even without Spezza.

There was no kicking motion on that goal.

Right now I am mad at:

    - Whoever decided that the first Ottawa goal was a good goal. C'mon!
    - The linesman who called THAT an icing.
    - Therrien for benching Galchenyuk in the third (1:54 of ice time). I know you want to protect the kid, but he was your most dominant forward all night long.
    - Therrien again for saying after the game that he did not felt that his team sat back in the third... did you watch the game?
    - The referees, because they suck.... but this is nothing new.

Habs should have won games 1-2-4, but at the end of the day, they didn't. Kudos to the Sens for getting it done.

The injuries are taking their toll on the Habs...Eller and Gionta out, Pacioretty and Prust clearly injured, and boy do they miss Emelin's physicality back there.

initially thought it was kicked in, but you can tell a kicking motion only happened after he redirected it. That's the way the cookie crumbles. Anderson has stopped all 34 third period shots while Price is 34/43. That's the difference.

Yep that is the outcome. The puck is clearly deflected, Zibs tried after the fact to redirect but the intially deflected shot was already on it's way in. Also the OT goal wasn't goalie interference. When a player pushes the opposer into the goalie it's not interference. Why is it so many people forget the rules in the playoffs?

What other coach would use the player he just benched for a period and a half as his extra skater with the net empty? wow.

    Yeah, that's called "follow-through"...

Truth is, Montreal was still up 2-1 at that point and they can't use that as an excuse. If they wanted it more than Ottawa, they could have taken it to the Sens. Okay, I know it's not that easy, but what I saw in the third was a Montreal team sitting back, icing the puck play after play.

Winning teams overcome adversity. That said, Montreal seems to have had more than their share of adversity over the last week.

    Go Oilers!

Will never feel sorry for a team having to deal with adversity. Ask the Senators how much adversity they went through....

All teams deal with adversity, bad refereeing, bad bounces, and bad luck. It is called "real life."

Ottawa is a fantastic story and they deserve where they are right now. Best GM in hockey, and a coach very in tune with his roster. Scary thing is they are only going to get better.
