I just started Vikings. I just finished season 1 and it was very good.

Great GoT-withdrawal show if you ask me. I tried Spartacus but it didn't feel right. I had this feeling like I was watching a B-level series.

Season 2 of Marco Polo was good also.

If you thought Season 1 of Vikings was very good, just wait, it only keeps getting better. Much better.

This is very encouraging as coincidentally, I just started watching it. I'm on season one, episode three. Seems like a cool idea. The characters are interesting as well.

Strange Things on Netflix is really good so far. I'm hooked but up next is Mr. Robot. If those out there like the main actor in Mr. Robot then you should check out a show called Short Term 12. Fantastic.

Interesting ... I got bored of Vikings after 3 episodes. After finishing The Walking Dead and season 6 of Game of Thrones, I got nothing. I might give Mr. Robot a try.

I was the same way. Liked it well enough but just didn't keep going. Have heard great things so will def try again

I watched the 1st episode of the Vikings and it didn't do much for me. Guess from the others on this thread I should soldier through a little longer.

Give Vikings 4-5 episodes. If you're still not hooked, then it's not for you.

Vikings is essentially a watered-down version of GOT with a storyline driven less by politics and more by religion and conquest. And obviously the size of its world and breadth/depth of characters is much smaller than GOT.

But I for one appreciate its simplicity and rawness.

I'm halfway through Stranger Things and am really liking it so far. It's got a Goonies/ET/Poltergeist feel to it.

I'm going to get to Mr. Robot but probably when season 2 is done so I can binge 2 full seasons. I do like the actor (Rami Malik) so I will keep that other one in mind. He was also in the story-heavy game Until Dawn, which I really enjoyed.

I'm not sure if Sherlock has been mentioned in here already, but I recently just watched the whole thing in the last week and a half. 3 episodes per season, and it's 1:20 per episode. So really just a string of movies. It was excellently done though!
Still a few episodes to come out as well.

Loved first 2 seasons. 3rd season was a big letdown and I haven't yet bother to watch the latest one.

Stranger Things on Netflix. Watched episode 1, loved it a lot. Very nostalgic for some reason. It's sci-fi horror meets the Goonies

Also just started Stranger Things on Netflix and am loving it. Other fantastic shows on Netflix are Penny Dreadful and Salem (both for horror fans).
