Also I completely agree with MD's blunt assessment that Stammer vs Tavares results in an TKO for Stammer and the comparison (at this point) would be pointless.

People often talk about Tavares as if he's swimming in shit, but the talent he has worked with is decent. Moulson has always been a good player with potential (although I'm sure Tavares has accelerated his development), but just look Parenteau this year... dude is playing at a PPG clip this year on the shittiest team in the league.

Not to take anything away from JT, but there are studs playing with much shittier line mates than him, so that primary argument doesn't hold water in my books. Even if it did hold water, it's hard to argue with Stammer's numbers over the past 4 years. There's simply no argument. It's not even remotely debatable at this point.

Sure it's debatable. It's not like we're comparing Gomez and Crosby here. But the debate, as MD pointed out, would invariably lead to a win by Stamkos.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I was being facetious. I've actually been looking to do one with Kadri.

Voracek made his NHL debut at 19 posting relatively good numbers and has now hit point per game at 23. Hardly a late bloomer. Ahead of most players, actually.

Parenteau played his first full NHL season at 27 and is now posting close to point per game at 30. Definitely a late bloomer.
    GO WINGS!
