Default Blow all my FAAB on Greinke????

I'm in a brand spanking new league, with half the league made up of newbies. We are all work buddies so it will be fun but there are going to be growing pains.

First leason learned the hard way: Buddy dropped Zack Greinke! Wow, he even had an unused DL spot.

Anyway we used $100FAAB for the season. I have 2 days to bid.

Would you blow all your FAAB money on Greinke? I'm almost thinking its worth it. (Maybe I sound like a Newbie, lol)

Now remember there are a few newbies in this league so in a month or two someone might drop a Stanton or Heyward if the continue to struggle (maybe not even injurred).

Thoughts/comments? I didn't post my team but lets just say I'll survive without him. Could be a valuable trading chip though.

12 Team - Rotisserie scoring, Auction draft, FAAB waiver.

Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL

Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Walks (BB), Batting Average (AVG)

Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

If it's a keeper, I'd throw down a lot of money on him. Depends on what you think others will do, but don't be affraid to go big.

Really tough call in a one year. The busted clavical recovery is a bitch. Bad sleep, the left side atrophies due to non use, left shoulder freezes. Expect a full eight weeks to recover.

I think an eighty percent bid would be your best option. Leave you enough to play with, but beat all other sane bids.

Someone would drop Stanton or Heyward? Get me in there!

On Greinke, No, I wouldn't. But, are guys like Luebke, Beachy, Pineda and Lewis still available? Cause essentially your getting them back for the same time.

I hate using all my bid bucks early, you'll forsure regret it later. Tough call w/o knowing more.

Another option...approach the owner who dropped greinke and encourage him to change his mind. You said there was a dl spot available. Tell him you will trade for greinke. You can get greinke this way for less cost than most or all of your fab.
