how is this hating on the nucks? have they addressed the physical aspect of their team since last year? did they not get their ass handed to them by the kings (who would be their first round opponent should the playoffs start today)

why dont you try taking off the homer glasses and admit this isnt the move gillis should be making right now?

all I am pointing out is that Gillis may not be done.

If Roy is all they add, and Gillis doesn't address the need for grit then you have case.

He has addressed a big need - a center. Would riberio or bozak been grittier?
is there a big center on the market they should have targeted?

To be fair every team the Kings faced last post season had their asses handed to them.

Solid return for DRoy. Dallas are loading up on D prospects.

You see Feaster, teams are actually willing to part with quality prospects and picks for quality players. Take note. LOL! Who am I kidding, I'm an Oilers fan, I love the fact that Calgary are giving away their quality players and getting mediocre prospects in return.

Personally I would have preferred Ribeiro or Bozak over Roy but Roy is probably the cheaper option (although if they want someone who will actually win face offs then Ribeiro probably isn't a good option). Nucks did need to address their center depth as well as their toughness but they don't need to address both with the same deal.

    Derek Roy?!?
Doesn't seem like a fit, IMO... but GMs usually have some type of plan.
I'd be interested to read Angus' take on this one.

What do you guys think this means for Roy in terms of fantasy value? Increase or decrease. He's sitting on my wire and I'm contemplating taking a flier on him...I'll probably pass considering the shitty wingers he'll be playing with.
