Assuming standard cats and positions, Tulowitski is the choice here. Much tougher position to fill at SS and there's a decent drop-off after Tulo at that position. Injury risk is there, but still worth the gamble if I had to simply make a choice between the two.

What are your league positions and cats, it would be easier to make a judgment call. Do you have Util spots, or would you be benching either Tulo or Castro all the time (or Pujols/Hosmer/Freeman)? What are the circumstances surrounding your decision?Originally Posted by youngblood09
Cut and dry though, I take Tulo over Pujols and I can't imagine a situation where I wouldn't since you build around your best player(s). If taking Tulo gives me too many star shortstops, then that's just a fantastic problem to have. You deal one to fill a need or two since there will be plenty of demand.
