Machado for Reddick??

Vitually a dynasty league as we draft our bench spots in the offseason. I have Reddick who is coming off a carrer year. I have been offered Machado straight across for Reddick. I have no depth at 3rd as Encarnancion has lost eligibilty and I have Gyorko slated to start. Reddick was 2nd on my team last year in HR's so I will lose a lot of power. That would leave me Justin Upton, Victorino, Pagan, Chris Young and Cuddyer in the OF. We have two UTL spots so the outfielders would be used. Reddicks huge K numbers and his pretty awful .305 OBP worry me. Would I be crazy not to accept this trade? I'm leaning to taking it because my 3B situation worries me.

If you needed a third baseman then yes a good one to grab. Wouldn't expect elite numbers this year; maybe 15 homers? But in a keeper league, Machado definitely is a great grab
