Moulson for Letang
I know I've been starting threads frequently as of late, but it's only because you guys give great feedback and I'm trying to fill holes before the trade deadline.
I was sleepwalking through the first half of the season, didn't pay much attention, but now I'm out the outside of the playoff picture and need to make up ground.
Made a few solid trades thanks to you guys already, need your thoughts on this one now too.
The GM I'm dealing with has a stacked blue line:
Subban, letang, markov, pietreangelo, and yandle.
I targeted subban but he's a big habs fan, it's a no go.
He said letang is tradeable.
He needs shooters, and seeing as I have 3 in my LW pool already, I was thinking of moving moulson.
What kind of deal would be reasonable centered around moulson for letang?
League settings are in my signature, 3D spots and 2Util

In a 3D league having 5 D is really overkill in my opinion so he'd be better off moving one for a forward and you'd get to 3. Letang is killing it in Pittsburgh and with so many different threats he should keep it up. I would want more for Letang and see him countering for a higher scorer or replacing Letang for a lower D.
Not a bad opening offer see if he bites.

I've been talking to them for a little while now, and you're right they do want a goalie, but I'm not breaking up my duo. I'm not desperate, so I'm going to hold out to see if they'll cave in. What I can see happening is it'll get close to trade deadline and they won't want to get stuck with so many D, so they may be forced to take my offer.
They're the type of GM that really over rates their players, and offers pretty one sided trades. But I've been sticking to my guns and trying to hammer home what I think one of their dmen is worth, hopefully they believe it at some point lol
