I'm considering the same thing but he's got 3 in 6, so it's not like he's been absolutely horrible. Your alternatives are no better than Harty, I'll tell you that.
I'm going to give it another week or two to see if he starts clicking.
He is being very frustrating as of now as I really want to drop him. Players like stewart, stastny, roy, conacher are available on the waiver wire right now. He isnt going to be a keeper anyway so he's very expendable to me.
Thoughts?

I'd hang onto Hartnell. However I would lose Ryder for Stewart.
I was watching the game today and he gave an interview saying that he's getting more and more comfortable playing his game [physical, screening the goalie] since his injury. He's just recovering from a broken foot, don't expect him to be 100% right away. He will pick up the pace. He's playing with Voracek and Giroux and seeing PP1 time on the Flyers lethal PP. Just ask Simmonds what that PP can do for grinders. Hold onto him.
