I just noticed this. I don't really own many SJ players...so how'd they end up worst in the league in scoring?

Instantly crushed my Experts League team. Not only the lack of scoring but the insane minus ratings. This isn't golf people!

They always start hot out of the gate and fade as the season goes on, very streaky team.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
It really is insane how quickly things can change in fantasy hockey...in the off-season, I had the choice of keeping Pavelski or Semin in one of my limited keeper leagues. I decided to keep Semin, and early on in the season I was regretting my decision as Pavelski scored 12 pts in his first 7 games. Since those first 7 games, Pavelski has only scored 5 more points in 15 games! That is freakin' unreal.
Not to mention, Semin's play as gone completely in the other direction.

This doesn't explain all of it, but check out what Pengwin7 had to say in the post linked below:

The uptick is that the Sharks have had a pretty giant homestand (where they typically play well) to start the season, then had a rather long roadswing (where they typically play like crap). Another homestand coming up in the near future, so hopefully things will get better and we'll see some damn goals.
Like I said, don't think this fully explains the Sharks' voodoo nature, but it is some interesting food for thought if one is hoping to whip out the crystal ball and seize onto a trend before it takes off.

I thought that SJ would do well because of the shortened season, but apparently they've adjusted to the idea quickly and are just tanking that much earlier this year.
I find it a bit of a coincidence that most of the SJ vets did NOT play else where during the lockout and its showing. Seems like some of them are running out of gas already.
Thornton is the only consistant performer thus far in terms of production and I think its because he went to the Swiss league, played a lot of games and had a good run there.
I'm so over my team

On the flip side though, we have the 2nd best GA in the league. If we start finding the back of the net again, we should be right...should

When Havlat & Clowe arent contributing much offense, SJ basically just has 4 guys who can score. Their offense from everyone else is way below average.
Their 3rd and 4th lines contribute nothing and it's even worse this year. They need to gut this team. I've been saying it for years as a fan and it's showing. They need to change the identity as well or at least find one.

Yeah, they're rocking it now lol. I'm tired of the core this group has and it's honestly a great thing I don't have cable this year. This is the perfect time for me to blow them up.
