Default Drop Nugent-Hopkins for Schenn or Huberdeau

The Nuge hasn't done squat in the last month. 3 pts in the last 14 games. I'm looking to replace him with someone like Schenn or Huberdeau.

Schenn's been doing great but I'm a little worried about Gagne cutting into his TOI and PP.

And I'm not sure what effect losing Weiss will have Huberdeau. Hopefully his TOI should increase but I think Kopecy might be more of beneficiary instead of Hubs. Huberdeau has been playing more sheltered minutes up until now, lesser opponents, more OZ starts, etc. I'm wondering how this will affect him as well.

Team and stats in sig. What do you think?

I'm leaning a little towards Schenn because he's already scoring against better quality competition than Huberdeau has.

    Other notables are:

Grabovski - Playing more of shutdown role this season
Henrique - Bouncing around the lines too much
Roy - Hate him but has settled down nicely in the C2 role this year
Stastny - Declining numbers and on Col
Stepan - Hate it how Torts shuffles around the lineup

Thanks Mater. I'm not sure if Hubs can keep it up this year especially if he's given more opportunity against better opponents. I am sure that he won't be able to sustain his current 16% shooting percentage.

    Any more thoughts?

Hugh... I honestly didn't think that Huberdeau would be able to keep producing this year, especially with Weiss being infront. With the inury to Weiss, Huberdeau will have more opportunity to be the go to guy...

Very well looks like I was wrong. Would take Huberdeau over the Nuge and his cold streak.

I'd honestly take either of them over RNH at this point.

Like the others, I like Hub here first, Schenn 2nd.

Hub is on the "top" line for FLA with Drew Shore and the 2 young guys seem to be clicking... Especially Hub as of late, scoring goals, and pretty ones at that.

For sure Hub here... Not sure what's happened to RNH this year, not like he's not getting icetime or PP time, and not like his linemates are bad - same as last year in fact!

I like Schenn the most myself. Hubs is on the top line and has been phenomenal, but without weiss, all the shutdown attention is going to be on him and that isn't easy for most rookies. Schenn has a very strong and more talented supporting cast and has really come into his own this season. I wouldn't worry too much about Gagne cutting into his ice time
