I need a starter I can afford...bad!
OK, so here's the deal. I'm hanging on to first by a thread. I've got goaltending problems. Rask is saving my ass, Ward is giving me ulcers. It gets worse, I have the Bulin Wall now on IR, Nilstrop headed back to the AHL and Giguere who is of no help whatsoever. I need a third Goalie! An FA or WW is not an option, there are none! Rask and Ward I'm good with. The Question is, If I'm going to add a starting goalie on the cheap, who should it be? I don't need a top 10 guy, I need a reliable third starter who can go .500 in wins and not shit the bed with GAA. I don't need to start him every game, just spot starts to fill in the holes. Who should I target for a trade that might fit the bill?? Put another way, who are the guys that have lost value over the first half and are affordable but who can come back and be respectable in the second half?
