This is true, Axe. If I'm not mistaken, in the past, he's reached out to another in the same way. Karlsson can feel however he wants. None of us knows, including him, how he would have responded to a phone call from Cooke because a call wasn't placed.
If any of us was Cooke, I would find it hard to believe that one would assume that any form of contact, call or not, would embraced by just about anyone in Ottawa when you consider what has been said about him.

Accident or no I'm so sick of Cooke always being at the center of things like this. I don't blame Karlsson at all for his reaction. It's hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt when he's earned a reputation for being one of the dirtiest players in the league.
If Kate Upton sliced my achilles I would have the same response.

I find it humourous how people have such a "beyond a shadow of a doubt" in either for or against the intent. At the end of the day the only person who knows what he did was Cooke. We can speculate all we want on the intent but what is the point? We can't prove it either way.

I agree with this. Karlsson even mentions in the interview that he has come after him before and he always has his arms up high when he does....Cooke has made his bed, now he has to sleep in it for the rest of his career....
