I would take the Edler for Iggy offer - Iginla has had his day and is late on the back nine of his career, while Edler has plenty left. Do it!
Put the word out that I'm looking for some defence. I was offered Edler for my Iginla, I'm inclined to reject this one. However Kesler will be back this week and could make up for the loss of Iggy. Or sit tight with my 3 as it seems Phanuef is starting to warm up finally.

Even though Iggy is a notoriously slow starter and is only 2 years removed from 86 points.

I would go with Edler. It sure looks like Iggy is slowing down. More than just a slow start.
Iginla has already 8 points in 11 games and he did that with a shooting % of 2.3 so I think he's going to have a better year then most people think but then again Edler is one of the best Dman you can get and he's got more than a couple of seasons left ahead of him.
6 teams, keeper, 12 Forwards, 6 Dmen, 2 Goalies and 5 Benched.
Points only (2 for goals by Dmen)

I think it is the wrong move to make. No way would I trade Iginla for Edler. You are in a 10 team league, you only carry three D, which of your D is Edler so much better than to warrant losing a player like Iginla? It sure isn't Byfuglien and Pietrangelo because they are simply better, and while you could argue that Edler is better than Phaneuf, I doubt that to be the case in your league, but the real point for not making this trade is because of how D are value in your league, as it's a 10 team league with 3 D starts, meaning there are a wide variety of free D to be had that are of quality, while there isn't as much available in way of forwards. Iginla is not the worst forward on your team, so I wouldn't move him out for a lateral move on D.
I would do it. How many d do you start each nite?

Kesler's back as of tonight (confirmed). Does that make your decision any easier?
I agree that Iginla will still be a valuable asset this year. I've seen about half the Flames games....he's just a little snake bit right now...the goals will come.
Good luck!
