They also have the best AHL team. Erik Karlsson alone makes you a contender in the league. There is no other young team on the rise with the balance they have at goal, D, and forward aside from St. Louis who is looking just okay this year.

(This is when they are all in the lineup.)

You add a Jones and MacKinnon to that, not to mention the potential of guys like Perry or whoever they look at in the trade market, you'e looking at a SC contender in the next 3 years or so.
There's a lot of IFs to that line of thinking. If Spezza and Karlsson return to their old form are two big IFs. Not trying to rain on your parade, but injuries can cause players to be unable to return to their previous performance level

I think with modern medicine that this is a rarity nowadays. Every time somebody gets injured lately, it seems they come back just fine and even better in some cases. Brady, Manning, Malkin, Adrian Peterson, Crosby, I could probably name a lot more.

Obviously can't predict, but I don't think Karlsson will be any worse for wear if a guy like Salo comes back just fine after the same injury.

Aaaaaaaaaand that's the end of my season. $#@&

Was really the only valuable commodity that I could bargain with (besides Crosby).

    My team is in shambles.

so your saying CA and RL is more depth than Lou, CS and EL?

lot of ifs ands and buts there.

I hope they win the cup but you are really pumping tires here.

    and Ben Bishop.

Van's is obviously great. Let's just say best in the East and best in the West. Lehner however is on another level than Lack and I'd take him over Schneider as well.

Wow another top pick for the Sens. As if they needed the talent. They are going to be scary

Interesting to see how Kyle Turris responds as Id say(ok some might say Andy) its his team now.

the TSN guys are morons...I don't think anyone with a brain sees this as an intentional injury attempt...they keep missing the point that Matt Cooke just simply needs someone to beat his ass senseless, not for this, just because he makes the league consistently worse, that is all
