    Default Ryan Clowe (REP)

Clowe is awesome multicat guy however in my league that doesn't count PIMs, I think his value drops. He has helped me with hits however, like last night when he was out for a bunch of the game because of fighting, the PIMs category did not help me and he only got me 1 SOG. Would be nice to still have some hits but I'm leading the league in hits and FW so maybe could sacrifice a little in the hit department.

Looking at some replacements. Do I stay put or drop him and pick up one of the following?

    Brunner
    Briere
    Kassian
    Brouwer
    McGinn
    Steen
    Schenn

I like McGinn but he plays LW. Would rather have a RW eligible player as I am LW heavy.

Maybe pick up Brunner/Brouwer and McGinn, drop Elias and Clowe?

Brunner is riding a six-game point streak, and his situation is pretty great on the Wings. Pick him up if you want an RW and don't need Clowe's hits.

I think Brunner / Briere / Kassian are all definitively better than Clowe in a league that doesn't count PIM. I'd go with Kassian slightly ahead of Brunner...

Yeah I think Clowes hits are a bit inflated because of that one game he had 8 hits. And since he gets so many PIMs that don't help me, he is on the ice less which = less hits/SOG/points...

Liking Brunner's potential especially since I have Zetterberg and Franzen too, or is that one line overload? Haha

What do you guys think of Brouwer? He is getting top PP minutes at this point and does a little of everything

I would think about finding a team in need of hits and possibly packaging that with a D-man for an upgrade on your defense. Not sure how you are doing in blocks, but that looks like it could be a weak spot on your roster.

Yeah blocks I'm a little weak but I'm beating everyone in most other categories that blocks isn't that important right now. I have an extra slot too which I'm considering picking up Carlson as a 7th defender than picks up lots of blocks..

I like Brunner over Clowe, a bit risky, but the reward is better.

RyanE is worth dropping for Kassian and McGinn for me. McGinn is playing well right now, and is getting top-line minutes with Landeskog out.

Too bad you don't have PIM's as Clowe is a BEAST this year. But I agree...

I'd cut ties and take a run at Brunner followed by Briere and Kassian
