You may lose a bit from St. Louis to Richards (this year and next), but then you would also land the best player in the deal (Giroux) for... Couture? Yes please.

I realize goals are worth a point more than assists, combined with the fact that the guys you'd be getting are more assist heavy. However, you cannot deny the fact that Giroux is a top 5 talent and trade value alone will net you far more than Couture any day of the week.

Tough. Giroux is hurting on the wings which impacts this deal greatly. I'd stick with Couture and St Louis, both of whom are on loaded teams up front and putting up good numbers.

But yes in a keeper you take that deal and run

I will go against the grain and in a one year league, take Giroux and Richards. Giroux and MSL should be a wash at season's end. I much prefer B Richards to Couture, notwithstanding SJ's incredible start.
