Am i selling too low on the Oiler boys? Is Stammer worth this premium?

That is one helluva lop sided offer, and possibly what is needed to pry Stamkos away from your co-hort. Personally, I'd keep the O'Boys. Maybe none will match Stamkos in points...(but both may come close).

If you're that aroused by Stamkos, have at'r...I wouldn't move Stamkos for much less...but I'd also take a step back and look at the assets (marleau included) that you're considering letting go.

Ask yourself...why do you want Stamkos (likely top 3 to 5 in the world) to much that you're open to letting go 2 Forwards (soon to be part of an offensive dynasty) who are both top 30...maybe top 20 skaters...and the enigma that is Marleau.

I can't tell you what to do, but if I where you...I'd keep my boys. And if I was the Stamkos owner...I'd consider, but may just decide to keep the stud.

Maybe not much help. Accept what you can't control and do what you can to change what you can control

Control your assets...there's a better offer out there for you I think.

You have to overpay for players like Stamkos. However, that is A LOT. Seeing your roster would help. What confuses me is you giving up 4 wingers for 2 centermen. That has to knock your roster out of balance between your number of centermen and forwards. I don't see Stamkos and Galy out-scoring Hall, Ebs and Marleau NOW, and there's a chance they don't out score Ebs + Hall and that 1st down the road. If you must deal, I say take out Marleau or the first. You need to win somewhere, whether it's now with Marleau or possibly in the fuure with the 1st.

I don't like this trade for either side. I'd want to keep Stamkos if I owned him, and I definitely want to keep the Oiler boys if I owned them too. I say just be patient and wait it out. Eberle and Hall will both be bona fide stars in this league for years to come.

I suggest you add the number of keepers in your signature - that could make a big difference in trying to make an evaluation (in general - not just this thread).
