I would stay with Tavares. The only issue with him as opposed to Neal, is that with Tavares you sacrifice +/-
The owner of Neal just offered me Neal for Tavares straight up. Who would you rather have in my league (standard cats + hits)? Thanks!

hits are much easier to get than scoring
It's a lot closer actually since Hits and PIM are included. But I'd still take Tavares. I think he's well on his way to becoming one of the best players in the world and will be a perennial Art Ross candidate.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Give me Tavares, and I like Neal's multiple category strengths. Tavares is becoming one of the elite offensive players and another's peripheral strength isn't enough.
If you need hits, I suggest you use your offensive Dmen who appear to be a bit lacking in that department. Find a manager who's weak on offense and strong in hits. Yandle is a bit overrated in this format so perhaps target a struggling Phaneuf, for example.
hamonic is another good one to target you might get a kicker for yandle if you chase him
