    Default Faulk on Waivers

Faulk is available on Waivers. Considering about bidding for him. Thinkin of dropping Wiz for him. Thoughts?

Wisniewski's situation is more condusive to achieving points...25+ minutes/gm and over 4 on the PP + he shoots a ton and kills some penalties. Argument against him...horrible supporting cast limits points and +/- will suffer...and he's a gust of wind away from the IR.

Faulk looks solid [although he's already missed time with an injury this season], logs 22+ minutes a night, doesn't shoot as much as Wiz and sits further down the list as far as PP time goes. I think his best case scenario is probably around 22 points this season with a moderate +/- [say +5].

Wiz does have the better upside in a shortened season. Faulk is probably the safer, un-sexy pick.

If +/- doesn't hurt you too much I prefer Wiz othewise I would understand the switch.

his +/- is pretty disgusting but has gotten me 3 assists this week alone... tough to see Faulk sit there on Waivers atm knowing that my D isn't that strong.

James Wisniewski left Saturday's game in the second period after falling backwards into the boards.
Wisniewski was part of a race for the puck on a potential icing touch up and ended up losing an edge and slammed into the boards back-first. He was down on the ice for a bit, but was able to eventually gather himself and skate off with the assistance of teammates. The rearguard, who had a goal in 9:23, went right to the locker room.

Probably drop him now then huh?

In fairness, we don't know how serious the injury is, but I wouldn't second guess this move now...Faulk is a nice consolation acquisition.

As far as Faulk vs. Hedman...Hedman is more seasoned and is really coming into his own. He's not going to get many PP points. His points will come from just being on the ice so often with such talented F out there. I like Faulk a tad better for points though based on PP opportunity and similar even strength minutes.
