Ryan Callahan (shoulder) is probably about a week away from returning.
Callahan has two goals and a minus-four rating in six games this season. It's not clear if Callahan will play on the second line when he returns or help lead the third line.

It would be great if he could have been added to the IR. I just lost three skater categories by marginal differences that would have been wins if I hadn't had an empty roster spot.

Callahan was placed on IR today. Just fyi. Retroactive move I believe just to make room in the lineup.

Thank goodness I'm a delinquent and have no life and was up at 2:30am. He was actually on the IR as of 2:00am EST or something like that so I was able to grab a guy off the wire lol.
When I saw Yahoo IR'd him I thought of you instantly bondon. Happy day for you.
I traded a package of Callahan and Kiprusoff to a guy a couple hours before Callahan wrecked his shoulder. I kinda feel bad but I'm sure my luck will even out.
Apparently he could be ready as early as Saturday according to the Yahoo update.
he has been practicing without the non contact jersey for a few days now
and today he is running drills on a line with miller and kreider
so yeah his return should be soon it could be sooner than saturday
